Spike Spiegel Build.

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums... Again. I've signed up twice over the past ten years, once when I first discovered Morrowind and then again when Oblivion came out. I never signed up when Skyrim was announced by I surely spend many of hours a week browsing. I always tend to forget my account information for some reason or another so I just decided to make another. So no need for a fishy stick :biggrin: .
I'm not exactly new to Fallout, I played a little bit of Fallout2 back in the day, and I was a bit disappointed with Fallout3. But when New Vegas came out I fell in love, it was everything I wanted Fallout3 to be. Anyway for my second playthrough I wanted to roleplay something and ultimately decided on Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop, but I think I needed a little bit of help and direction if that's okay with everyone.
I know I wanted to focus on small guns and unarmed, but what other skills would be useful in this situation? S.P.E.C.I.A.L? I originally wanted to mix in melee weapons, as a homage to Samurai Champloo (Same director) but then decided that after the Spike playthrough I should just roleplay Vicious as well. Caesar's Legion as the Red Dragon Syndicate and I heard that one of the expansions has a katana in it. Anyway, back to Spike. I could probably just use the afro hair and there's plenty of leisure suits around that could work as clothes. I dunno though, anyone have any ideas? I usually like to make character arcs when I play games like these, maybe I should join the Powder Gangers or Caesar's Legion and then get kicked out as a way to represent the Red Dragon Syndicate's hostility towards Spike and that would be him running away from his past. Maybe I should pick a very remote female character to be his love interest, Julia? Does anyone have any interesting ideas?
