And replacing any new quick/auto saves I make. I turned off the steam cloud and steam community and deleted all quick and auto saves however whenever I start the game it continues to download the same old quickauto saves I made when I first started playing from god knows where. I can delete them completely and whatever but the same old auto saves keep getting downloaded into my documents/FalloutNV/saves folder over and over again from god knows where and they overwrite any new quickauto saves I make.

This is a serious problem... I can use normal saves to save game progress but the game also crashes randomly sometimes and I like to quicksave often but I cant even do that. It really is hard to enjoy the game knowing that you may lose any progress you have made at any time.

two words- manual saves

Three words - they aren't foolproof. I manually saved numerous times this morning. Exited the game at "manual" save #20, came back and half hour later and discovered all of them were missing. They weren't anywhere in Steam or in C: My Games/ Fallout NV. I killed Steam, restarted it and #20 reappeared alone...as #1. Of course it was joined by the first quick save and auto save made - never mind I have deleted them numerous times.

I am having the same issue with quick and auto saves. I do use manual saves, but it irks me that quicksaves looks correct when I use the option and then go to load without exiting the game, but as soon as I exit steam and re-enter, quick and auto saves are reverted to really old ones.
