well, for crysis2 we had dozen of trailers, bob making a song and even the glorious hans zimmer made an epic main theme.
will there still be coming something similar to this, or are those 3-4 trailers we got so far really everthing.

Hans Zimmer svcks, as does Crysis 2's main theme. Zimmer is the epitome of generic mass-market orchestral music, as Call of Duty is the epitome of generic mass-market FPS games.

Sadly, that's the road Crytek took with Crysis 2: Mass marketing machines lying in behalf of an abysmally bad game.

Anyone who is able to compose such a feat or just a song that people would actually listen to already deserves some recognition.
His taste for music and the way he composes it made him famous and one of the most popular composers these days.
No, it doesn't sound like Mozart or Beethoven. It sounds like Hans Zimmer. People are trying to imitate his music. You noticed that since he became that famous lots of other composers started doing music like him?
Listen to Pirates of the Caribbean, Inception and his other works.
Yes, they may sound similar but it's their typical Hans Zimmer sound.
His music not really classic but people love it. It perfectly fits with the films and games he composes for.
Of course there are other artists out there. And I believe everyone of them would do a good job.
His music is nothing cheap but made from a musical genius with his full heart and soul. You should treat it appropriate and not just say "it svcks".
There doesn't exist something like mass-market orchestral music. You can't compare this to fps games. Composers don't look around and steal things such as bloody screens because people like it. They learn from each other but nothing more.
It doesn't work that way. You can't just copy someone else music unlike a fps shooter.

I would be really happy if Hans Zimmer is going to be the composer for Crysis 3.

^^ Agreed, he makes movies feel like something completely different, without the music, Inception for instance would've lost a lot of its appeal, or take Batman, and his action sequences, incredibly intense and he created sound effects purely to imitate the movie style, that is everything BUT generic.
