Books from lore-gurus in TES ?

Hi!

I might be slightly off-topic in this forum, but it seems the right place to ask that.
I noticed some lore-experts writing pretty good texts, here and in other forums. Considering how the "I can read each and every book in the world" aspect of TES seems essential to me, and how open Bethesda is on player-created content, I wondered if some of the books in-game were "fan-made".
If there are, which ? If there aren't, wouldn't it be an excellent idea for them, and a right step towards more fan-involvment, to organize some kind of literature 'contest', where they pick the best, most accurate fan-made material, and ship it into the next game ?

I think Beth really has a high-quality fanbase, capable of producing more than the average fan-fiction, sometimes more precise about lore than the devs themselves, and it seems a waste to me that they don't use the opportunity to make Tamriel's literature grow with the work of other lore-enthusiasts.

What do you think ?
