Well, their idea to re-validate the files does SOMETHING, at least. It finds 1 file that's messed up. Downloads something. And then when I re-validate again, same thing. Basically just a loop of re-validating and downloading the same file over and over. At least it confirms that there is something in the file structure that's wonky, but they probably should fix the re-downloading of the file.
Exactly. Obviously the servers that the validation is checking with knows what the file structure is supposed to be.....so why doesn't the file structure of what's being distributed match that checklist? Seems a bit....well....I guess I don't know a nice word for what describes that little move, lol.
Well, keep at it, Bethesda. Hopefully you'll fix New Vegas better than you did Fallout 3 (see: didn't fix at all).
