[Help] Audio Issues

Post » Sun Mar 07, 2010 7:11 am

Well, as the description says, (This is also a FO3 related bug I currently have)

My Master Audio (anything that goes on in the game. Opening a door, talking with an NPC, firing a weapon, etc) is locked to my Music slider. I LIKE the ambiance music, don't get me wrong, but I don't want to have to blare it to hear an NPC talking to me.
And there's just sometimes where you want silence.. no ambient music. However, I can't do this, because I lose all sound. (same problem like I said in FO3, it's locked to the music slider)

I've done some searching here and there, but haven't come across anything (only the stuttering radio fix with the AC3Filter)

Any ideas? Thanks!

Are you running under Vista or Windows 7 and have a Creative Labs audio card? If so, install Alchemy from Creative Labs, run it and and add Fallout to the games list. This solved all my volume slider button problems.
