William crept through the training grounds with his large flashlight. All light in the training facility were shut off, except for one large one that was giving off a dim light to mimic the moonlight. William heard the sound of spinning treads, and the flailing of metal arms flowing through the air. A Robo-Brain. He back against the wall, and kept his flashlight forward, but on the ground trying not to alert the robot. As he got closer to the edge of the wall, he turned off the flashlight, and unfolded it into the rifle. For training, he was given an F.M.G. 9 SMG that would fold into a small case like flashlight.
He loaded the clip into the gun, and pulled back the hammer. He jumped from the corner and switched the light from the gun on. Nothing was there. He could hear something blow behind him, and he turned around to a Mr. Gutsy less than a foot from him. He ducked, and dodged it's sharpened arm. He stood back up, and lifted his SMG. He held down the trigger, aiming for it's "eyes." The Mr. Gutsy started to curse, and it backed into a wall. William kicked in it's thruster, and managed to smash it. The robot fell, and the lights switched back on.
"CTO Squad 102 report to Briefing room 5. Repeat, CTO Squad 102 report to briefing room 5. Thank you." The building intercom roared.
William looked at his watch, and grunted. He still had another hour in the grounds. He folded his gun, and threw the strap over his shoulder. At first glance, it would look like he was holding a purse. He was late for the meeting, but silently slid into the room, halfway through orders.
"...overlooking the Springvale ruins. They have stolen several shipments of weapons from out caravans traveling towards Bailey's Crossroads through Jury Street Metro. We have already dispatched the group hiding inside, but that's not your mission today. The shipments are most likely being held in the Fairfax ruins south of Megaton. We want you to kill everyone in their Springvale Encampment and retrieve whatever you can. After this is complete scout out the Fairfax ruins and confirm the location of our caravan. After you are finished, return to me."
Dalton stood up, and looked at the squad; "I'm only going to need two of you, and they already know who they are. The rest of you head back to your bunks. Move out."
The group left, but William stood where he was, and waved. "Hopefully you mean me, or else I must look like an idiot." He smiled.
