Story?

Anybody have some plot ideas? What Iv'e heard about for actual plot is the Resistance is having an epidemic and I remember one scene about somebody's brother switching from Resistance to Security. I guessing that there will be a super awesome showdown at Founder's Tower, but beyond that I have no clue.

We haven't discussed the story too much yet, but we do go over some basic elements here. From stuff you remember, you've probably already seen the video. :)

I would suggest http://brink.chefenco.com/brink-chat-with-paul-wedgwood-eurogamer/ as well. The sound quality isnt very good, but Wedgwood explains a lot of the story in detail.

Huh Never heard of the brother thing. Well that would be intersting. When selecting Resistance you play as the brother who stayed and Secuirty you are the brother who switched.

I haven't heard of it either, but I read an interview of Richard Ham and Neil Alphonso which when asked about the level of gore in the game they replied: "excessive gore doesn’t really fit with the tone of Brink, a world where friends and brothers are reluctantly battling each other for what they see as a better future for all on the Ark."

I think they meant it more in a figurative way of speech. Could be a hidden hint as well, but I doubt it.

They are "brothers" because the majority of the security force are refugees that are working for the founders.

There is basicly 50.000 people on the ARK of which some fight for the original ideal (hosting 5000 people with a perfect ressources management) and some for the other (get enough ressources for everyone going).

I think the story could get pretty involved with lots of characters and backstory because it looked like it a Dossier was one of the menu options in the IGN E3 Brink video.
