Hey everyone, I'm just now learning how to install mods, but I haven't made any custom stuff of my own. I was wondering how do you go about making a face and hair for your player character mod?

Is there a piece of software that will allow you to make custom faces....or can you work on the body, face, and hair all together? Just trying to learn the process. And this is just player modding, haven't even got into clothes/armor/houses/terrain........I'm going slow, but I knew this forum would be the place to learn.
