Protagonists?

Well, he also has connections to the Crescent Blade (which was used by Dagon's guys in Battlespire). Besides that there is the book Fyr has http://www.imperial-library.info/mwbooks/talmarogkers.shtml which deals directly with the Battlespire. He also has the Scourge, which I believe had a role in Battlespire... :read:

Still not enough to go off it, I say.

Fyr's a researcher, a wizard; is it really so unusual he'd have a book that deals directly with the Battlespire?

With the Scourge (and even the Crescent, to be technical); again, it's known that Daedric Artifacts change owners frequently and without warning; who's to say Fyr didn't come across the Scourge in a Daedric ruin he was researching years ago?

I'm just saying that no matter how you look at it, the evidence is flimsy at best. And I know you agree with me....i'm merely stating all this for those who don't.

I am surprised no one talked about Arena's protagonist...

Someone's mentioned the Eternal Champion, who's the Arena protagonist.

The Arena protagonist was briefly mentioned in Hallgerd's Tale.

Hey, Nerevarine here. I just wanted to let you guys know I'm doing fine. I gave up all this sword and sorcery business and left Vvardenfell. Now I work at a Starbucks in Malibu, and for once, the weather is great!

xoxo Wish you were here.

*Blasted. Gets up from the floor.* It appears your hidden dice roll failed. *Horn section happens to be at ready to play combat theme. Battle ensues. Antigonus exits pursued by a bear.*

I've been thinking it might be nice to allow them to come back, but use your old save files so you get the consistency of your own characters. But that doesn't really belong in this thread.

I'd always begged the question myself of what happened to them, but I didn't realize there were actually some canon answers. .. . And as for Fyr, maybe he really is everybody. >_> He's certainly old enough to have a few identities, and later he can go be a mild mannered humanitarian. Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a ...

Both of you need to be shot for this

...'cause it's FRIGGIN' HILARIOUS!!! HAHAHAAH!

Lol. Concerning protagonists coming back, of course it would be cool for them to come back, but then the devs would actually have to make a decision on their actual being, i.e. race, skill set, etc. Eh, but we know that.

It WOULD be nice to see Fyr in TES V, if they would make it relevant in some way. But it's unlikely I guess...
