Where would you live in the elder scrolls?

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 9:10 pm

I fell in love with the high class country living of the suburbs near Suran, Morrowind. That peaceful place, with its beautiful docks, with the slaves farming your crops, and with the mysterious MW sunset in the background, is where I want to live--although I would probably release the slaves and hire them instead.

Btw, one of my signatures, actually comes from that place.

I'd go to High Rock to try and study magic.

Afterwards, once I become pretty solid at Conjuration, I'll wander around with a Storm thrall in tow to keep watch while I sleep.

In The Rift. The Rift is my favorite region in any Elder Scrolls game.

Black Marsh, lots of water. Lots of exotic plant life and animals so a chance I could find some way to create the medicine I need to live. Otherwise I would most assuredly perish.

Yes because in TES world you can cure diseases like cancer with magic and potions. If i was able to chose race i would chose race that i hate the most - High Elves.

And if im not able to chose race i would live in Cyrodill or Shivering Isles. I dont like playing mage in TES, but if i would live in TES i would obviusly go for mage because mages can heal, become invisible, summon random creatures, and mages doesnt have to wear tons of heavy armor to stay alive.

Skyrim, Eastmarch, Mixwater Mill.

It just seems like a fairly nice area, nothing too threatening nearby I don't think, out of the way in a sense but still close to settlements so safe in that regard, great scenery by the river as well and of course work available. Good honest living, I'd perhaps have a small Shrine of Zenithar and an Amulet too. Seems nice.

Something horrible would happen eventually though, leaving me very much dead.
Dead, or more likely as Cattle.

My answer would be as a practicing Chronomancer in the Isles.
Tommson, have you noticed there is nobody in Mixwater Mill in the day? I could not resist quoting.

Well since the only Elder Scrolls game I've played is Skyrim, I'll have to say Skyrim, but where?

I do have a soft spot for Winterhold. The college is mesmerising and is one of my favourite locations in the game. Other than that.. Solitude I guess?

I would live in Chorrol and buy Arborwatch. I would join the Fighters Guild and possibly get the Fighters Stronghold, just west of Chorrol at some point.

I would live in Bruma or a nice log cabin very near Bruma. Love that town and close to both Imperial City and Skyrim. One of the few walled towns of Cyrodiil that managed to overcome the great war. I would be a Nord :) I feel very connected to them.

Apparently one of the terms for the white gold concordinat was that hammer fell went to the dominion. The imperials were by that time so depleted they needed peace and because the red guards wanted to fight , gave up hammer fell as an imperial province. I thought the red guards were still fighting , but hey that's just what I heard.

That's true, but the redguards didn't give up after the Empire cut them loose. They successfully drove the dominion out 5 years after the WGC was signed.

Haha, aye. All the workers have gone off to fight in the war, just leaving essentially a couple of chickens and Gilfre I think? I'd marry her, since all I'd need to do is chop some firewood and wear an Amulet of Mara.

I'd live in Markarth. It's unique dwarven design is fantastic, and I love to go hiking in the mountains. Plus, I love the design of the city.

Suppose you were svcked out if this world with your family , where would you want to be if you could choose anywhere in the elder scrolls? You would also be given 300,000 septims.

I would personally live in the imperial city or skingrad , but that's because I'm an imperial.

Seeing as I'm a Dunmer, most likely I'd end up somewhere in Morrowind.

Valenwood, definitely. The Bosmer are one of my favorite races, and their land sounds the most hospitable.

I love Elsweyr and Vvardenfell as well, but let's be honest: neither one seems particularly hospitable. A desert and a volcanic wasteland.

Probably in High Rock somewhere, in one of the larger cities like Daggerfall or Wayrest. Maybe running a bookstore or something.

I would prefer to live out in the countryside, but I'm by no means a fighter and in a fantasy world where giant rats are of a size so they easily reach your knees and capable of biting the legs off, I rather be somewhere relatively safe. And giant rats is one of the least dangerous creatures of Tamriel.
