Daggerfall - Sneaking

Post » Sun Mar 14, 2010 12:23 am

I recently started playing a custom thief/assassin/mage who is not restricted (as far as I know) in what armor he can wear. I recently found some elven chain, and was wondering if armor like chain, plate, etc will negatively impact my ability to sneak up and backstab the enemy. Now, I realize that this would make sense, but I don't know if Daggerfall has this implemented or not. Plus, I don't remember reading anything about it in the manual. My character isn't great at sneaking yet to begin with, so I don't notice a difference with leather vs. chain, etc.

Thanks!

Nope, armor does not affect stealth or spellcasting.
