I wanna know if I should run Oblivion on XP 64 bit instead of WIn 7 to give me more FPS, to counteract the fps drop that come with installing mods.

The specs are:



Motherboard: MSI B75A-G43

CPU: Intel Core i3-3220

Video: Intel HD Graphics 2500 - tweaked from BIOS by an IT guy, setting all to almost max (i dunno when I'll have the possibility to get a dedicated video card on this PC)

Audio: integrated: HD audio codec Realtek ALC892

Memory: A-DATA Premier 8GB DDR3 1333MHz

Hard disk: Western Digital 500GB SATA-III 7200rpm 16MB

Power: Sirtec - High Power Eco 450W



Oblivion runs more than fine in 1024 x 768. I get 30-60 fps in hdr mode and with all details to max (except grass). No AA, just AF activated. But when I started modding, a large part of the time fps dropped below 25 on some mods. If u want I'll list the mods.




So it's XP an option considering the specs ?
