Anyway im from Australia and I'm currently in the US. I don't buy mags normaly but I want the GI with the skyrim stuff. I don't think they have that mag in Australia does anyone know? And what date is it released? What kind of store would I go to in the US to get it?

The best place to go would be Gamestop as they own GameInformer. Also the mag's not out yet, probably in a couple weeks

Hi I'm in uk. I believe it's released on January 6th or 7th and from what the US peeps have been saying general mag store or game retailers stock the mag. It's unlikely you will get off the shelf on that date as the subscribers will get it then.
I can't get the mag here unless I subscribe for overseas. Guess I will have to wait for a uk mag to cover it.

Should be released sometime around Mid-January. You can get it at Gamestop and any other game store, and maybe some bookstores like Borders and Barnes and Nobles. But, within days of release there will be scans online.

Ok thanks guys. I'll be back in Australia on the 9th so I guess I will miss it. Ahh well.. Maybe the scans are my best option. Unless we have game informer in aus..

I don't know if you can get singular magazines shipped or not, but a couple months or so after they should have it posted on the official site... I think.

Hey Lion Turtle, you can get it in Australia! Go to an EB Games store and you can buy the Australian version of Game Informer.

This does have local content, but the previews and some features are from the U.S. version. For example the last issue - #13 Tomb Raider cover - had an article on past Elder Scrolls games just like the U.S. January issue.
You can buy a years subscription there as well($40), they give it to you with and Edge+ card for trading games in or something(haven't used mine). Not sure if it's available in all states in Australia, but I'd assume so since I'm from New Zealand and we get it here too.

I remember when I first read about Oblivion in Game Informer, it was so awesome. Actually I think I still have that issue in my trunk...I'm going to go look at it now.
