[Req] Could someone generate an empty worldspace for me?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 2:12 am

Hey,

just wondering if anyone could generate a big worldspace for me filled with forest. I would do it myself, but my PC always dies if I create a region bigger than 30 cells and try to generate a landscape with some trees and bushes.

Dunno if that is too much work for anyone to do, doens't need to be fancy, just an empty world with lots of trees and some bushes, mushrooms, etc.

Thanks. :embarrass:

LOD and stuff I would take care off myself.

Set it up as multiple regions, and generate them in phases, removing generated from any overlapping regions before saving. Converting your mod to a .esm, and then generating regions within a .esp should also improve your chances.

Ideally, you should really only be generating the full range of stuff within those spaces that you actually intend the player to travel through. All other areas should use a sort of LOD region which only contains trees and ground textures.

Thanks for the tips with the .esm :)
I've tried generating it in smaller parts, but its still dying if the area is bigger than just a few cells.

However, I've found a good modder's resource for this, so I think I'm fine.
