I never read the infernal city, and knowing me, won't be able to for a long time.

The main thing i'm most curious about is what happened to Morrowind, as it is my favorite province (Not just because of the game.)

Can anyone tell me what happens to it and why? I know it's frowned upon asking people to spoil the story, but I don't know if I'll ever get to read it, and I'm not really asking for the whole story.

The ministry of truth that moon from oblivion crash's into viviec city after vivivc is weakened when the heart is destroyed. Vivice disapeared or was killed and his spells and enchantments on the big moon slowly un did themselves. Once that happened red mountain erupted and destroyed almost all life on the island. The dumner were then pushed out by the argonian's as a kind of pay back. that is all im telling you read the book it is amazing.

That thread is a bit diffrent though. Most people are putting book suggestions in their last time I checked. This one is pretty straight forward. I think it can be closed now though since I answered it.

So was it just Vvardenfell that was destroyed? Or did the argonians do that on the mainland?

Let me preclude what I'm about to say by admitting that I do not have first-hand knowledge about the events in the book as I have yet to read it myself (it's next on my list). From what I've gleaned through discussions, though, is that

the Ministry of Truth smashed into Vivec city at the same velocity it was travelling before Vivec (the demi-god) stopped it in mid-air. This happened, of course, because Vivec's powers waned after the Nerevarine destroyed the heart of Lorkhan. The force of the collision not only destroyed Vivec, but set off the volcano at Red Mountain, which, in turn, destroyed pretty much the whole of Vvardenfell, and a good deal of mainland Morrowind. Shortly thereafter, Morrowind and it's native Dunmer were beseiged by the Argonians of Black Marsh.

That's about all I have put together from the tidbits I've read. None of which was from the official http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1069774-official-the-infernal-city-an-elder-scrolls-novel/, so I could very well be blowin' smoke up yer bum.
