I was just thinking, which doesn't happen all that often. Would any of you be interested in making a TES Wiki? I'm not talking about any old wiki. Not the incorrectness of the Elder Scrolls wiki, and without the naivete of the UESP. I mean a Wiki made by lore buffs, for lore buffs. With sections for speculation, hypotheses e.t.c I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of cynicism, I'm not even sure if it's a good idea myself. Just a little idea.

I know we have TIL but that's kinda weird to navigate and Wikis are probably the best form of information navigation-wise.

Why don't you just join UESP wiki and help it get its lore together? I think two wikis is already too many.

I would but it would just be me on my own, and there's a lot to do. Unless people want to make a project out of it and go and make a whole loada changes to it. Although we'd have to use their rules, and that could be slightly annoying, though it would be tolerable.

Quite frankly, I'm inclined to believe, from a cynical point of view, there is a definite push to keep deep lore obscure.

From a much less cynical point of view that is more to the point, no true consensus could be reached on most of the texts that would do them justice. Almost every topic in TES is multifaceted to the point that (and I would really like to highlight this) any Encyclopedia is, by nature, reductionist and unjustifiably homogenizing.

It's a lot less to do than starting a whole new wiki
