First off, when i insert disc1 it will not auto load?

Using installation wizard, it seems to fully install BUT, when i attempt to launch i get the error message

"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem"

That was no help as ive tried numerous re-installations!!

After googling this problem i downloaded Microsoft .NET 4 but still no joy, it will not launch?

My system is as follows Athlon64 3500, 1.5gig ram, ati Radeon 1950 xtx, windows XPpro SP2. As far as i know, this should be well enough to run this game?

Any help will be really appreciated, i really want to play this game. My only other option may be wrestling a refund from my local PC game shop.
