Mods that allow you to skip confirmation messages and other

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 6:46 pm

By shortcuts, im hoping for a mod that:

-Allows you to shift + click (or some other combination) to instantly store all of the selected item into your storage chest, for example.
-Also to skip the confirmation messages when buying or selling stuff
-And maybe to skip the "would you like to poison XXX weapons" message as well
-A "take all" keyboard button? Like in skyrim.

A year ago i had a mod that allowed me to instantly store any quantity of item into a container, but the name of the mod is rather obscured in my mind now.

Thanks! :D

But you prolly didn't know what that does.

Search nexus for:
A takes all
Togglable Quantity Prompt
OBSE Menu Que

Those will do some of that.

Well, i dont know if mods for the other stuff i asked for existed, hah. Thanks! :D

What does the Menu Que mod do, though? It was required for an Oblivion Experience mod.

From the http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1172562-obse-plugin-menuque-thread-2/:
the bulk of these functions allow for greater and/or easier manipulation of the UI (through script) aswell as help create new UI elements or whole new menus.

It's only of use if a mod utilizes it. It's not standalone.

Ooops no I meant http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/23404 that has a lot of features for better UI navigation. It is installed in every game I play without exception.

The point about mod detectives is that there is a whole long standing thread for these kinds of questions.

Take a look at the "Menu Escape" mod at http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/10812 for this. By default, space or right-click will "do the obvious thing" in menus, but that's configurable (I have mine set to ctrl-space). In most menus, "the obvious thing" is to click "ok", but it also recognizes certain specific menus such as:

- In the main menu, it selects "Continue" and then "OK" on the prompt to load the latest save (usually so fast that I don't even see the load dialog)

- In the repair menu, one press of the menu escape key will loop over clicking the top item in the list repeatedly, until you either run out of repair hammers or things to repair.

Very nice. It's the kind of mod that I forget is even there... until I reinstall and it isn't.
