After I start up the game, it prompts me to enter my gamesas account credentials. I never had an account before so I attempted to create an account in-game.

But for some reason, it returns me with a Network connection failure error after I submit my details. So I went on here and create an account. But, I still can't sign-in.

Is there a way to rectify this? I tried logging in with my firewall disabled but I have no luck signing-in.

Before anyone asks, I bought this game on Steam so I have a legit CD key.
