She stepped closer to him as well and said, “Then take me with you!”
Veric looked at her and with much pain in his voice told her, “I can't.”
“Then you do not love me!”
Without saying a word he, turned around and started walking towards the docks; but before he was too far away, he turned around and looked at her and said with with a confident and reassuring voice, “Keep a look out on the horizon. For my return.”
Almost on the ship Veric heard a cry in the distance, “Veric!!!!”
