» Sun Nov 25, 2012 5:11 pm I've bought Crysis on steam 3 days ago and till that day I tried to start it, found many things on web but nothing helped me.
-Updated every drivers I could
-Reinstalled the following apps
...\steamapps\common\crysis\installers\Directx9c\DXSETUP.exe
...\steamapps\common\crysis\installers\VC80_Redist\vcredist_x86.exe
...\steamapps\common\crysis\installers\PB\pbsvc.exe
...\steamapps\common\crysis\installers\GameSpyComrade\ComradeSetup.exe
-I also downloaded the vcredist_x64.exe
-I've tried to download the bin64 (cuz that folder doesn't exist on Steam version of crysis) and my antivirus said "VIRUS!"
-I've set "launch as admin" option for steam.exe
-I've set "-dx9" for additonal launch option, in steam... (worked for Bioshock)
-I've contacted Steam support, for help
Nothing has changed, it still crash on startup. Here is the log file found in that folder
