Skyrim From the Beginning

4E 201 Two hundred years have passed since the Oblivion crisis. With the death of High King Torygg the flood gates of civil war break loose; the Imperial legion is engaged in a bloody civil conflict with the band of insurgents known as the "Stormcloaks."Their goal is an independent Skyrim, free of Thalmor and Imperial rule.

To make matters worse a great prophecy has been foretold in the Elder Scrolls; one that foretells the return of Tamriel’s primeval darkness, the Dragons led by the all-powerful darkened 'son' of Akatosh himself...the World Eater. The scrolls also tell of the coming of a mortal born with the soul of a dragon, the Dragonborn. One who will have the power to permanently defeat the greatest foe and end the dark reign of the consumer of worlds Alduin.

Your journey will be full of many perils in your quest to just survive this harsh unforgiving land.

It goes without saying the normal terrors in the mere everyday task like the search for food. You may run up on a sleeping bear, be chased by a sabretooth tiger, trolls, or poisoned by a frost spider. You will encounter thieves who rob you blind, bandits who take great pleasure in torturing you before they stick your head on a spike. Should you encounter an assassin don’t worry you will never see them coming nor will you be telling the tale of survival over a good tanker of mead in one of the taverns. You can howl at the moon as you will never get any restful sleep again as the beast blood of lycanthrope runs through your veins. Speaking of veins less you do some good persuading and talk the Vampires into infecting you with Vampirism, you will pray for death should they throw you into the cattle cells of Castle Volkihar.

Civil War is upon you, dragons are overhead, you have a choice to make, a side to choose, what will it be?

Will you stand in fight against the evils of Skyrim, or will you simply give in to it. Begs the age old question, Hero or Villain?

Now great adventurer, free yourself from bondage; take up a blade or spell, bow or axe; fulfill your destiny or watch as the world ends around you.
