Some lore questions from a newbie (to the deep stuff)

I've been following the lore for awhile but I still feel confused over some basic questions

1. Since Michael Kirkbride is an ex-writer for Bethesda is what he writes canon? I know people on this forum and other forums act like it's true but I would think an ex-writer would not have a say in what is canon and non-canon.

2. I have always seen CHIM as a breaking the 4th wall thing, is that true?

3. Where does the dragonborn go when he dies?

1. It depends on how you want to take it. Some of his stuff has been confirmed canon by direct mention in the games, other stuff can be considerd canon if you want since MK normally writes things in such a way that the game would never say otherwise, so its really only canon becuase the games never say otherwise.

2. CHIM is really just realizing you are everyhing, becuase everything in the world is connected by the dream of the godhead, and thus gaining controll over everything.

3. Depends, maybe Sovengarde, maybe a daedric realm, maybe the dreamsleeve, maybe you wont die. There is no confirmed place that you go to.
