Khajiit breeds question

Post » Sun Dec 02, 2012 5:06 am

If the khajiit breeds are so diverse and are not dependent on the breed of the parents they how would communities of specific khajiits exist? I know that ohmes and ohmes-raht are found outside of elsweyr, does that mean that they of all breeds tend to immigrate elsewhere (LOL) during their lives? Or are they separated at birth?

Secondly, i need confirmation on my comprehension of a certain part of khajiit lore. If i understand correctly, an ohmes or an ohmes-raht can be the child of two alfiqs? Or two senches? Thats kinda weird, how does a house cat give birth to a man? O_o

Anyways, I realize these aren't the typical questions a person asks themselves when playing a game...I'm not exactly a typical person, i've been aching to find out the answers so thanks to anyone who can answer.

The form they take depends on what phase the moons are on the day of their birth, the breed of the parents does not contribute to that at all. They are also all the same size and shpe as newborn, and only grow into their forms after birth.

A wizard did it.
Well, actually it was Azura :hehe:

I understand that it isn't hereditary so does that mean a house cat can have a tiger, a cat and a man as sons (Senche, alfiq and ohmes)?

There is a passage in one of the novels describing a human being baffled when a man-like Khajiit calls a large tiger-like Khajiit his brother.
