so what do you think the chance of ps3/xbox getting dedicated server's for c3?
they have nearly a year to sort it.
i hope all platforms will get a beta this time round too.

I doubt it gets dedicated servers for Consoles

having dedicated servers on consoles is very hard to achieve

you can't just download some server tools and have people from xbox connecting to it,

they will probably have custom game lobbies, in which you start your own private game with you set of rules and play with your friends

Do a beta 6 months before launch like Gears 3.

that's a shame about the server's, they definetly need to take a look at the current system.
custom game lobbies sound like a good idea.
i got the black screen too many time's and squad members getting left in the lobby is another pain.

yeah, and preferably a proper one, not an open one.

Open betas put too much pressure on devs to make it look and play very well before starting testing, because people can and do base their impression of the finished game on the beta version.

The result is the open betas of pretty much any multiplayer game EA have anything to do with, which are basically demos.

Would be a good preorder incentive wouldn't it...

I noticed that the speed mode drain in Crysis on consoles was slower than on PC... hope they make the sprint a bit better in Crysis 3..
