When they said that they would have new types of aliens, I was thinking, why not give all the aliens small tweaks?

The fire breathing / lizard aliens look pretty badass. Since they're in a jungle (For some part of it) why not make the ones there look like lizards/ reptiles?

In say, a desert dome, there would be scorpion-like aliens, and in an aquatic setting, there would be sharklike aliens. Something that matches each theme, and would be completely badass.

Because the Ceph are squid aliens. I'd prefer if we kept it that way. The Ceph adapt to the environment, they don't change form.

With all those badass animal-aliens, you would need badass magical powers too. lol

I don't mean make their entire form different.
I'm talking about the exoskeletons they wear.

But why would aliens take Earth's creatures as shapes for their exoskeletons? It would look unrealistic, uncreative, and awful.
Maybe aliens are stupid, with lack of imagination so they take animal shapes for their exoskeletons... that would be the only explanation if that design ever lived.

Dnt really think Aliens trying to kill the human race would care about imagination.

Well then, how are they going to revamp the aliens' designs? I wanted ideas of what new aliens could look like.

Wouldn't mind seeing something similar to these flying around or crawling up and around ruined NYC buildings
