Dear gamesas,

Thank you for the e-mail in which you informed me about the pre-order availability of Crysis 3.
If I should pre-order the fysical copy today, will I be able to ad the game to my Steam gameslist?
I do hope that you will also reply to my message on short notice, as i did to your message!

It will probably be Origin only.

I demand a response from an gamesas administrator. I see no reaction from them in simular topics. This clearly means it will only work with origin or else they could have mentioned this already.

Lost a sale if this turns out to be the case

I am 99.99999999% (google calculator tells me that's 100%) sure that it wont be on steam.

Nice logic, can you teach me?

..but yeah, it will totally be origin only unless EA decide they're losing out on juicy steam dollars.

I guess the Admins here only leave a message in positive topics? Is it so hard to tell us/me that this release will be origin only? Itsn't this still the strategy of EA, yet nowbody is saying anything. This how you treat your customers.

GG Crytek! Two can play that game! Just lost yourself another sale.

You may close and remove this topic, because you clearly dont feel the need to inform a paying customers. I wonder why EA was voted the worst possible company in 2012.

You do understand that Moderators here aren't the Directors of EA, and probably don't even know your answer?

Boeteloez, in response to your original question: No.

Crysis is not a Steamworks title.

What is your source?
You dont come across as an ea administrator or crytek representitive

Absolutely no EA game is a Steamworks game. Absolutely no CryTek game is a Steamworks game.

Mind you "being on steam" and "retail game activable through steam" are different things. I am not claiming that the game won't be purchaseable through steam.

He doesn't need a source. Inductive anologous reasoning gives us a good enough answer

Did you read my question in the topic header?

You are just a speculator like the rest, yet the admins dont know, dont care or dont even have the decency to find out!

Are you having a laugh or are you serious? DICE is owned by EA, Bioware is owned by EA and Crytek is owned by EA.....

1. i cant install BF3 anywhere else!
2. i cant install Me3 anywhere else!
3. make sense to state that crysis3 will be origin mandatory, dont you think?

Just in case you missed it m8, there are lots of people out there that seriously dislike origin and dont intent to spend any money on EA games from now on. But, I seriously wonder if the big corps care about this

you act like this isnt a joke! I wonder what is wrong with these companies nowadays. And can you please stop leaving useless replies. I wish to read a useful comment from one the crytek or ea people and not from other members who are all just speculating and having a laugh!

Thanks for you effort, but it still DOES NOT answer my question.
