A N1 "Classic" Mode/Playlist

Post » Tue Dec 04, 2012 9:54 am

It appears C3 MP is going to stick with the C2 formula of custom classes, modules, killstreaks etc, a formula that enjoyed such wide spread and lasting popularity amongst the wider gaming community…

In light if this, how about including a classic mode/playlist that actually is classic…

Would include:

- Classic N1s (Separate Speed, Strength, Default Armour and Cloak) with all its in built abilities
- No custom classes
- No suit modules
- No killstreaks
- Pick up weapons
- On the fly weapon customisation
- Hands free sprint etc
- Updated classic maps perhaps
- Cycles through popular game modes
- Classic hip-fire and recoil (with some balancing eg:laser/precision rifle)
- Include new abilities such as ledge grab and slide (sliding with hands free speed: whooooo)

This would be something for the Crysis purists, while fans of C2 can enjoy the updated C3 MP. It would have to be more popular than the last “classic mode”

Love the idea but not gonna happen, It would basicly mean making 2 different MP games and the community would get fragmentated.

I appreciate its remote possibilty, but they have made this MP before, not like there is a huge amount of work in putting in the N1. No more than a mode without nanosuits at all, like the last classic mode. You could forget the classic maps and just put it on whatever the existing C3 maps will be

How do you know?

I'd LOVE to be wrong, but gut feeling from all of the information released...plus Hunter module obtained from pre-order, and having a 2 year development period.
