Im a tad confused,
are the multiple domes around the globe meant to keep people inside and the ceph outside, or vice-versa?

basically they keep the ceph contained and humans out for the good of mankind but thts a lie cuz cell wants to control the world and rule over every one

From the first look this seems like Cevat has played and watched to much Resident Evil games .
But it seems there has been a world wide invasion so i guess its possible there are more domes around the world were ceph are contained were Crynet tries to harvest alien technology.

What i dont get howevere is how a interstellar species that can travel between stars and warp objects and life forms over interplanetair distances dont just crash a ship right down trough that freaking dome or something but okay

I think the domes are a kick ass idea with a lot of potential....I hope they explain things well though and really have some detailed plot in the next installment becuase I have about a million unanswered quetions from C2 still (and I read the comics as well which didn't wrap much up).

The domes really need to be explained well and throughly thought out for them to be cool. If they rationalize them away without good reason they could be lame but done right I think it they would really kick ass.

I believe that the use of the domes is to prevent the ceph from exiting the domes into the world, each tower is contained inside one dome

it could possibly also be a method to trick the ceph into thinking that there are no humans, and the domes go back to wild jungles

also as a way for the CryNet Enforcement and Local Logistics to steal their alien technology and to study the ceph

It's supposed that the ceph are calling their mothership(?) or outer space colonies, and prophet wants to prevent this by going back to NY and killing the Ceph

Well if Crysis 2 told us anything CryNet doesnt care about Ceph threat ... only the profit potential of the Ceph tech. I mean they had already lost Manhattan Island by the time your in the Nanosuit 2.0. Heck the wasted MORE resource on the Prophet chase than shutting down the Ceph. Talk about mixed up priories.

if your serious about real Science space travel, the only reason why its not feasible to humans is becuase of the long wait between trips, for all we know, a ceph individual can be 1000 years old, or even 10,000, where as 25 years might be a long time for humans, may be a short period for the ceph. Who knows, maybe they are just going to pee in all of earth's butt and just wipe us out with a massive spore released from outer space.
