There is NO substitute...

Tried to fill the void with MW3 and BF3, or any other shooter I can get my hands on the last few days until I get paid, but I can't find anything that I'm interested in...Cry-Tech has a hold me like a Meth head for just one more rock...

I know what you mean bro, I have BF3 (laaaame), MW3 (svcks badly) and a few other shooters.
There is just nothing that comes close, too bad Crytek is the only game developer that makes such interesting games (despite the bugs and glitches).

Even one year after release, nothing else manages to best it, or even come close to it ...

Yes, I say lame, I may not have played it much, but it just never impressed me or compelled me to play it more. Therefore, lame.
Also, guns look like crap, and I like good looking guns.

Crysis has the best looking guns by far, but I love battlefield 3 for it's full-on war feeling.

In Crysis 2, it's like you're the only one playing while you're in a match. Like you're Alcatraz taking down a couple of targets. That's what's meant to be felt, though. You feel like a total super hero, but it does have limitations.

Battlefield 3 has vehicles, and you can score monstrously high if you just work for your team and not for yourself.
There are open battle areas, so you're free to sneak behind the enemy or just play around!

But what I like the most is piloting jets <3 I'm a naturally skilled pilot, since I played a lot of dogfight games as a child, so I really enjoy piloting jets in battlefield. You don't feel like such a superhero, but you do feel all tactical and stealthy and stuff.. I just prefer it more for now since I'm bored of Crysis 2.

But MechaGodzilla, your laser eyes/crown/mouth and finger/knee rockets could easily get you a ceph airstrike, why abandon them for a SCAR? LOL just a Godzilla fan, I had to say that.
