New to it.... Is it worth it?

Post » Thu Dec 06, 2012 5:37 pm

Hey guys. Well, in new to crisis and was thinking about getting Crisis2.
My question is about multiplayer. Simply this...... Can you get easy matchmaking still even though it's nearly a year old? And is the multiplayer as good as I hear?

Appreciate any feedback

God Bless!!!

Absolutely worth it, MP is still strong in the top three modes (Team Instant Action, Instant Action and Crash Site). Don't get discouraged though, you will probably be frustrated for the first while while you level up your suit. Lots of new players on now so at least you aren't alone. PM me if you want some tips on the game, I am not great but do ok with a variety of guns instead of the basic feline melee crap that you will read about on here.

looking forward to it, trust me, this game is fantastic if you can get past a few of it's "quirks". Nothing better out there, Battlefield feels like playing in molasses compared to this...

It's definitely worth it. I'm a Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2 player and I can say they're both great, but Crysis 2 is just different from all other FPS's.

It gives you this rush that no other game gives you. There's always something going on, and you're always on high alert. You never know when the bullets will start flying and punches start being thrown, because everything moves so fast.

Of course, when you're starting you may not be able to keep up, but once you get the feel of it and get through the learning curve(which is huge), then you'll feel like a true supersoldier on the battlefield.

However, this game isn't made for teamwork, and you'll feel like you're doing all the work once you get good. I think this fact makes some of the players get cocky.

Yes, Totally worth it. Best Single Player story in a FPS to date IMO as well for a really fun / additive online. Takes a little getting use to as well you'll have to reach level 35ish to unlock all of the game modes. Also, the only downside to the online is that majority of the map packs are not active. usually have to get a group of people to play with online. Hopefully they will make it free so that more users are playing the add ons.

as mentioned above its a steeeeeep learning curve, dont be put off it in the beginning. it will be tough n frustrating.

a beginners tip try to stay in cloak as much as possible n when u approach an enemy turn on ur armor, otherwise ur a sitting duck.
