Hey everyone, Im thinking about getting crysis 2 soon for ps3 because I am definitely going to get crysis 3 when that comes out. I have been reading up on the forums and everything and was just curious if that DX11 graphic upgrade was available for ps3 and if so, where can I get it? Sorry if this is a stupid question hah.

You need a video card with DIRECTX11 to get that... it's only on the PC unfortunately though.

With 5-6 year old consoles It is impossible hence if my knowledge serves me right there was no DX11 in 2006 or 2007.

But on the other hand, the ps3 does have a core processor made by IBM (most advanced processor to date, no moving parts) But still doesn't surpass most recent 2012-2013 processors

So, what I am hearing is that the DX11 is NOT available for consoles? :/
