Sorry if this has been answered before, but I just couldn't find the answer. I looked hard into the FAQ (that should probably be updated) and found nothing.

So my question is: How did the Lore itself become so deep and complex? Is the lore from a single man or was it done in groups. I truly must know because the lore could easily outwit most novels and raises questions to think about even in the real world. So please, if anyone could explain to me the history of the Lore itself, I would greatly appreciate it.
