The Imperial Civil War interest thread.

The 29th of Last Seed was a dark day in these dark times. Emperor Titus Mede II was assassinated by unknown forces. (Though some believe it was The Dark Brotherhood that have done the deed.) Not only did this made Cyrodiil appear even weaker than it is, The Emperor had made no clear heir. For months, his two sons, Maxmillio Mede, and Attrebutes Mede II, have argued over who should be emperor. And The Elder Counci is deeply divided over this. But it only gotten worse. These debates ended with no conclusion. Maxmillio Mede, believing that he has no other choice, headed North to Skyrim to prepare for war against his brother.

In this roleplay, you will pick a side in the Civil War and lead a Legion of your choice. I, and a CO GM, (Who can be any of you.) will also control one of the Mede's brothers as a way of organizing the RP. It will start in your faction's capital where will you meet your fellow commanders, and disscuss a "Campaign" with the Faction leader. Your Campaign could range from Small scale. (Only involving a city or region.) To one that involves the entirety of the Enemy terriotry. The faction leader would then chose the Campaigns he likes and go allong with it.

Factions:

Maxmillios

The younger son of the Late Emperor, he and is followers are against the White-Gold-Concordat and wishes to abolish it. That is why the Stormcloaks are allies with him and even now allow his Legions into Ulfric's holds. He currently controlls Skyrim, High Rock, and Blacklight (Morrowind). His capital is Solitude.

Attrebutes

The older son of the Late Emperor, he and his followers see the WGC as a "Neccesarry evil." beliving that abolishing it would only cause more termoil. He also critized his brother for putting The Empire in turmoil for his own ambitions. He currently controlls Cyrodiil, and Morrowind. (Except for Blacklight and Southern Morrowind.) His capital is currently The Imperial City.

Province's statuses.

Cyrodiil.

All of Cyrodiil belongs to Attebutes II. It is still rebuilding from The Great War, which effected it's economy. Most of the Legions there are at the Border to Skyrim, waiting for contact with Maxmillios's Legions. The rest are at the Border to the Aldmeri Dominion. The areas inbetween are patrolled by guards from the Local counties. (But the Lack of Legion presence cause a higher crime rate in recent years.)

Skyrim

The entire province is loyal to Maxmillio, thanks to his promises of abolishing the WGC. And it is where most of his legions are at. The province itself is suffering economically thanks to the Civil War that happened. A High King is yet to be decided but Ulfric has earned the trust of Maxmillio. The Legions there are focused to the border of Cyrodiil, waiting for contact with Attrebutes II Legions

High Rock

While offically Maxmillio's territory, most of the varied kingdoms there don't care much about the Imperial Civil War and only joined him out fear of being conquered by him or they had something to benefit from. There are only a few Legions there and is not a a major priority for both sides. Though since it is the only Imperial Province not molested by wars, so it does have a decent economy compared to the rest of The Empire.

Morrowind

The Red Year had effected Morrowind in a bad way. Although it is on the road to recovery, it is still a long way for the Land and the Dunmer people. The only reason why the Empire still has an interest in Morrowind is the vast amounts of Ebony in the province. So that is why Morrowind is another, but smaller scaled, theater of the war. With only a few legions from eacho factions fighting for control of it's ebony resources. Though most of the Dunmer in the province sees this as making it worse for them, and dislikes both sides. It should also be noted that southern Morrowind is now Argonian territory.

If you want to be Co-GM, you must be active enough in the RP. (Though I'd understand if you can't be there 24/7.) And you must control the leader of your faction. (Though I still prefer you also make your own character as well.)
