...

That's it?

I was kind of expecting something more. Granted, the caps and weapon would have been helpful at a lower level, but come on. It took me till level 29 to get them all, and by then I have at least 20k (50k in this case) caps and a powerful weapon. I was hoping to get some kind of perk, or bonus from it, but all I got was a weapon I'm going to put on my shelf anyway, a little pocket cash, and 250 novelty badges.

Sorry for the rant, but I'm kind of disappointed. Hunting for the Star caps was great fun, but I expected a reward that could benefit all players, not just low level ones.

Why exactly would it contain anything remotely useful?
After all, Festus is just a pre-war robot for children.
It's not like it's some hidden weapons bunker or anything.
I do think Pew-Pew should have been a little bit stronger though.

The disappointment is part of the point of the quest. It ties into it's story.

Also, think twice about Pew Pew being a low-level weapon. That thing is basically a shotgun in laser form.
