I'm thinking of getting fallout 1-tactics after hearing (many times) how awful F3 is in comparison. I started with 3 then moved to Vegas and loved both but(mainly in Vegas) it references stuff from the first two (like blowing up the rig,NCR/BoSwar etc) and wanted to know the full story for myself rather than reading a wiki page.

Only thing, how does the combat work,is it like FTL(turn based) or hugely different? Also, with isometric view, can you only move to certain places in it?
