When I am playing the main quest line I got to the ponit where I needed to "Drain the Intake Pipes". So I go into the jefferson memorial and go down the hallway and go into the "Grate to Pump Controll". So I go in and after a few steps my game crashes, thus preventing me from doing broken steel, and the rest of the main story.

I have the Fallout 3 Game of The Year effition, which I know has many, many issues.

If anyone knows why it is crashing, or has any ideas to try to get around this problem, it would be VERY much appreciated!
