I've been doing some reading, and apparently there are a lot of issues with the Maximum Edition for Steam. Is it anything game breaking?

Moreover, is anyone even playing the game and DLC maps?

Aside from a new "maps not found" issue that appears to have surfaced this weekend, there arent any inherent problems with the Steam Edition... I think. If you have links for some of that reading I'd be grateful to see them.

It is easy to find a game in Crysis 2, but fairly difficult to find a DLC game. TcFr clan hosts and actively supports a regular DLC server here: http://secure.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=47378

The thing about the Steam version that I like specifically is the price: $9.99 this weekend.
