Anyway, comment with something in Fallout that doesn't make sense. Be it a development choice or an NPC's decision that didn't make sense, it doesn't matter.
For example, what's with all the unoccupied buildings? I mean, if I were a homeless post-apocalyptic survivor, and I saw a building that was still intact and had a place to sleep, I'd move in right away unless I was on my way to somewhere better. That's how it'd be if the apocalypse really did happen.
Safety in numbers, for starters. Take a look at the CW. Super Mutants, Raiders, Slavers, Mutated bugs and wildlife... if you don't have a gun, you're basically a free meal/cash/victim. If you have a gun, you're slightly more dangerous, but only slightly if you don't know how to use it. Move into Megaton or Rivet City, or even Big Town? One person firing random shots isn't too much of a threat. Ten people... that's more dangerous. If they all know how to use weapons? Anyone wanting to take them on will need better weapons, armor, training, or take them on at night.
My question: Where's the power coming from? What did they make those nuclear reactors from if they can still supply power 200+ years later with no maintenece?
