I want to remove the companions from MCA, and the only way I can do that seems to be to remove the mod and then re-add. However when doing so my character quite literally loses their face. Is there any way to get the face back? Or to prevent me from losing my face in the first place.

I suspect it may be something to do with the fact that MCA uses Westly's face mod, which my characters face may be from.

You could open the console, tilda key, ~. And then type in enableracemenu and hit enter. At least I think that's it, sorry its been a while. You can then reselect a face/hair etc. If you've re-added the mod you should be able to find the one you had originally.

Alternately you might be able to update the mod in your savegame using wyre mash to get around the problem... Have a read of the help on updating mods. Not 100% sure that'll do it, someone else probably has more of an idea. As I alluded to above I'm pretty rusty on messing with MW at the moment.
