Cap value fluctuations.

Is it just me, or does the raw value of caps fluctuate from game to game? For example, in Fallout 3, a stimpak costed 37 caps approximately. In New Vegas they cost upwards of 100. It's also a lot easier to get money in New Vegas, whereas in FO3 you constantly have less than a thousand caps until later on.

Is there ever any explanation to this ingame?

ingame? I dont think so.

Inflation is such an issue with games these days and to be fair I dont know if its "games these days" or if its always been a problem. In FONV I spend half the game with over 20kcaps, though I play vanilla GRA so no huge money sinks (like GRA) besides repairing

to be honest I havent played FO3 in three years and sold it recently so I dont remember how many caps I Would have but I do remember being able to invest in the four traders to the max

so long story short (too late) Id argue the increase in prices are to limit ingame inflation. Can you think of anything that is cheaper in FONV than in FO3?
