Morrowind 2.0

Will we ever see a official Revamp of Morrowind with updated Graphics and Animations?

I bought it yesterday for 15 Euros, and i'm a little shocked how bad it looks even with Graphic Mods, but at least i get the Idea why so many People say its the best of all Oblivion Games.

But i cant get myself to play any longer, after playing Oblivion and Skyrim i cant get used to the very outdated Graphics, Animations, Inventory.... :(

Hell, i would gladly pay Full Price for a newer and fresher Version of this Game!

Will i ever see one?

How can you be shocked by a 10 year old game's looks and feel? If you are getting a game and expecting Skyrim, then you are making a huge mistake. Also, it is 'The Elder Scrolls', Oblivion was just TES IV.

I hate to be this guy but I really wish people would stop asking for a "updated" Morrowind. Leave the classics alone!

There are about 5000 threads on this subject.
Why not continue in the current thread: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1421347-would-you-play-a-revamped-morrowind/

And, no.
It would be a waste of time, money and manpower for Bethesda to remake the game.
The original still sells very well, because mods have remade the game.

These updated graphics are bad?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSHDHoIN1Kc&feature=related
Wow, you are hard to please.

I'd say all fans of the game will play it regardless of how it looks. Mods are just a bonus feature.

p.s. Morrowind definitely has the best Inventory system of any TES game... by far! :P

Even without mods, it sells great too. This is probably the 500th time I said this but I find it ironic how people expect Skyrim from Morrowind in terms of looks, when Skyrim's graphics are not that great to start with.

Well, i was thinking Morrowind Graphics Extender would do the Trick, but i cant run that on my Rig (Strangly).

And whats so problematic about revamping a Classic? It was done before by other Companies.

Because at the moment Bethesda needs to focus on the rest of Skyrim, supervise Zenimax on TESO's development, as well as Fallout 4/TES VI.
