What is with EA and their tints?

Seriously, why does EA feel the need to force horrible color grading tints onto all of their games? Battlefield 3 went from being a visual masterpiece, in the alpha, to an eyesore by release. Now Crysis 3 looks absolutely atrocious due to the same "tints".

Seriously EA, slapping tints onto your games will not make them sell more than Call of Duty. In fact, Call of Duty doesn't even have tints! Why not copy that feature?

You might say, "Wow, calm down, you're really pissed off."

Well, that's because I am! I just don't understand what the logic is here! Why does there need to be hideous color grading on everything? Leave the developers be! Let them make the quality stuff, and you just stick to scamming people, okay?

I ain't buying C3 by the way. Boycott of EA underway and been going on for a year now.
