We know from interviews and videos etc that real time customization is in multiplayer, which is great because to be honest, the customization in Crysis 2 multiplayer was abysmal, especially if the time between rounds was on a short timer and you had to race to change something.
What i am REALLY interested in, however, is the variety of attachments that can be added to a gun simultaneously. in Crysis 1, you could have a silenced, single shot SCAR with a grenade launcher, laser pointer and sniper scope, which both looked cool and was a pretty darn handy tool to have with you. Crysis 2's customization shat all over this freedom, reducing the options on the scar down to a few different sights (which includes laser pointer), and a few other things like extended clip and single shot which were a one-or-the-other situation.
The question is - will we have near unlimited customization in Crysis 3?
It would make the game 100% better and so much more like the original if we did.
Finally to finish - WHY THE BLOODY HELL WAS SINGLE SHOT AN ATTACHMENT?
WHAT THE HELL!
*Alcatraz thinking to himself* 'well hey, this extended clip is somehow interfering with my ability to switch firemodes on my rifle. Better switch to my smaller mags and magically put a selective fire unit in my rifle under heavy fire from those guys over there!'
