Normally, when you transition between an interior and exterior cell, the screen goes black for a brief instant.

Yesterday, mine was filling with scattered graphics from the Pip-Boy screen. I get various faces, lines, and dotted outlines all over the screen at random, when I enter or exit an interior space. All of the graphics look like they came from the Stats/Status screen on the Pip-Boy. It all flashes onscreen for a moment, then disappears--where there used to be an entirely black screen, before.

Wondering if this could have anything to do with switching to a 16:9 from a 16:10 display?
