I've been playing the game primarily on my samsung laptop as my dad's motherboard shorted out so he had to take my desktop. I set the graphics to low and brought the render distance down as well. It's at the point where I have to be 10 feet away from a door before it renders.

Even so, it STILL lags. Badly. I can barely play it most of the time, and combat makes it worse. This isn't a huge problem as my dad is getting a new motherboard on Saturday or Sunday, but I'd like to be able to play it in the meantime.
