Yes poeple, it is yet another activation error/problem thread. I've been at it pretty much all day - restarting Crysis 2, typing in the code, getting a virtual slap to the face by a message box telling me

"The serial number you entered is invalid. Contact customer support for more infomation."

Well, I did...3 times!!! each time tech support said they'd referred the matter to the Game Devision to try and solve. I've done everything that the "Advisor" asked of me:

> Given them my name, email and game serial number
> Patched the game to v1.9
> Created a MyCrisis account (obviously)
> Restarted my computer and logged back into Origin and tried to see if I can repair/update the game files (wasn't an option to either repair or update)

Honestly, for me there are three options now:

> Wait for EA to email me back (hopefully with a solution)
> Crack it - and download a crack and keygen so I can play the friggin game
> Return it and get my money back

I really would love to play this game. I've got Crysis and Crysis: Warhead and they're both great, and I had no problems with those games, bar the first chapter of Crysis where you couldn't enter the cave at the end because of a game trigger error, but I got past that by playing through it again.

I don't see why I have to activate it if I don't intend to play MP online, which I don't intend to do. This sort of activation thing should work, so someone out there is dragging their heels.
