Crysis 2 won't recognize my saves!

Post » Tue Jan 01, 2013 8:02 am

I need some help, so I just did a fresh OS install on my new SSD and I wanted to play Crysis 2. Now Crysis 2 is installed on my non OS drive and I've already beaten the game and have put about 12 hours into it. So when I load the game I get a message saying that I have to activate Crysis 2, pausing for a second I'm like meeeeh whatever, so when I go to load my saves it shows that I have none! Turns out that Crysis 2 created a saves folder on my OS drive and now it loads from that folder. Aside from simply moving my saves is there any way that I can point Crysis 2 to load from the saves folder that actually has some saves in it?

I did some poking around on this very issue way back when, and I wasn't able to readily accomplish it with the .cfg files. I am not aware of a supported method of doing this, but if you find one, please advise.
