I only use explosive and incindiery for my AMR, CBA with the rest. I just sell it.

I use them because they offer better damage in certain situations, you would love AR rounds when attacking Radscorpions or Deathclaws. They each have their advantages and disadvantages, and rarity of the rounds themselves that make them better than others.
